INITIAL
Initial structured learning programmes are designed to enable students to acquire the knowledge and skills appropriate to the specific course level (e.g.: firefighter, crew commander, supervisor)
Students nominated to attend INITIAL SLP should aim pre-course study at their current role level, e.g: Firefighters nominated to attend a “Crew Commander Incident Command Initial” SLP should study notes issued on the Firefighter Initial course.
Students who attend initial programmes at all levels will be issued with appropriate training notes during each individual lesson.
