COMPANY SPECIFIC FIRE WARDENS/SUPERVISORS FIRE SAFETY COURSE

TRAINEE GROUP: This course is designed for staff who have been designated as Fire Wardens.

PRE ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS: None

AIM:

To assist organisations to comply with their obligations under current Fire Safety Legislation and to provide designated staff with the necessary skill and knowledge when dealing with fire emergencies in the workplace.

OBJECTIVES:

At the end of this course the Fire Warden will have the knowledge to demonstrate:

• The duties of a Fire Warden
   
• A proper understanding of fire and fire precautions
   
• An introduction to Risk Assessment
   
• Safe and effective First Aid firefighting techniques
   
• The implementation of Company emergency procedures
   
• The supervision of an evacuation
